1. What is Imagine North Port?
Imagine North Port is a community project that will result in a Citizens Master Plan that describes what the future of North Port will look like.
They are a non profit 501 (c)(3) corporation that encourages dialogue amongst the citizens of North Port. They requested and got approved, the grant from Gulf Coast Community Foundation to manage the Imagine North Port project.
3. Why the project is important?
The Imagine North Port Project is important because it will result in a citizen base vision of the city’s future. The project gives everyone an opportunity to give their ideas, visions, opinions, and talent to make North Port a better place to live, work, and play.
4. When will the project be completed?
The project will be finished in late 2009 or early 2010. A document with the project results will be presented to the city.
5. Does the city support the project?
Yes. City staff and elected officials are excited about the citizens voice be presented on their ideas about North Port’s future.

8. Is there an age limit for participation?
We ask that all participants be over 12 years old. We encourage the young, the old and the family to participate.
9. What if I can’t make a Charette?
Everyone can participate by completing the survey on the web, completing a hard copy of the survey made available at all Vision North Port meetings, and entering your thoughts on our Blog, that you can access on this web sites home page.
